* For another day, plan with a parent or caregiver to make a healthy choice by replacing one non-energizing snack or activity with one that is energizing. For example: replace one hour of screen time with any activity, replace cookies with vegetables and low-fat dip, eat fruit instead of drinking juice, choose whole wheat foods.
* Encourage children to play a high-energy activity at home with their family (tag, basketball, soccer) as well as a lower-energy activity (walking, swinging).
* Encourage discussion on the right foods they can eat to fuel these activities.
